"I've always had a passion for the outdoors, first walking, then rock climbing in college. Things spiralled out of control after graduating from university and now I find myself with the best office going – the outdoors. I love taking people on adventures, sharing my skills and experience and giving them a great day out."

Gary Evans

Gary is an extremely experienced Instructor across all the activities that we deliver. “Having been first introduced to walking and camping outdoors, then to outdoor activities in my early teens as a Scout, I have been involved in some kind of outdoor pursuit ever since. It was walking and horses for many years and then something of an obsession with Caving set in. I enjoy anything outdoors – caving, climbing, walking, skiing, paddling – whatever, but I always come back to caving in the end. Having set up the business in 1990 following a career in Engineering, it has developed so that Hawk Associates handles the People & Team Development side of the business and Hawk Adventures deliver all the outdoor activity aspects.

I hope our enthusiasm and the quality of the events and activities we provide is evident on this website – we really want to be able to give you an amazing experience, in a safe and sustainable way.”
