Waterfall Country

One of the most visited attractions in Wales is waterfall country.

Waterfall country is located in the Brecon Beacons, and hosts some of the most spectacular waterfalls in Wales. Steep gorges surrounded by trees and endless natural beauty – Waterfall Country really is a must visit. The area is so special that is has two Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and one Special Area of Conservation containing rare trees and over 200 species of moss (who’d have thought there could be some many)!

Traditionally Waterfall Country is visited on foot by tourists and local walkers who enjoy walking the many trails around the area. From short 0.5 mile walks to 5+ mile walks there is something for everyone.
