Outdoor School Activity Days in South Wales
Inspiring adventure, building confidence, and creating unforgettable memories—that’s what Hawk Adventures has been delivering to schools and youth groups across South Wales for over 30 years.
We believe outdoor learning is more than just a break from the classroom. It’s a journey of self-discovery, friendship, and resilience. Our activity days and residential experiences are designed to engage young people through fun, challenge, and teamwork, all while supporting their personal and educational development.
Whether you’re a teacher, youth leader, or parent, we’ll help you design a day (or a few) that your young people will never forget.
Built with Educators in Mind

- Link with the national curriculum through geography, science, PE, and PSHE themes
- Promote teamwork, communication, and confidence through hands-on experiences
- Support school and youth group goals, from bonding and behaviour to wellbeing and leadership
- Provide challenge by choice, ensuring inclusion for a range of physical abilities
We don’t just create activities—we craft experiences that make a lasting impact.

Excellent day with Steff doing a half day Gorge Walking for a staff wellbeing day. Beautiful location, great equipment and instruction, thoroughly enjoyed by all. Highly recommend Hawk Adventures as a flexible and easy company to work with right from booking to receiving photos afterward.
Hawk Adventures did a fantastic job at organising the team building activities for 80 colleagues as part of a corporate work event. The activities were engaging, varied and everything was run on time and smoothly. I would recommend Hawk Adventures (and specifically Steffan Davies) for anyone hoping to organise similar future events.
One of the BEST experience ever!!! Though it was raining all day, it felt like we have the best day to do the activities. So much fun all the way. It was indeed a day full of laughter and unforgettable memories. Our guide Steff was very knowledgable sharing facts about the place and some of its history. He regularly checked everyone and our preferences was on top of his priority. Very approachable and patient guide. Overall, I would recommend these activities specially to my workmates and would love to do it again with them. Looking forward for more adventures organised by You guys... till next time... keep up the good work.
Hawk has organised several outdoor events for 50+ people. As they are detail oriented , nothing was left to chance. Each event ran smoothly, had a clear plan that all participants were aware of. Not even the heavy Welsh rain could disrupt the day!
Hawk designed, organised and ran our annual team building and training day. The course was varied, challenging and kept everyone interested. The combination of theory, practice and in-house related activities and outward bound activities really made the day a success.
