Our expert instructors are ready to guide you through a superb abseiling adventure, set against some of the most stunning scenery in South Wales, including the iconic Brecon Beacons and the coastal cliffs of Gower, Swansea, Carmarthen, and Cardiff.
What to expect
Before arrival, you’ll need to be in comfortable clothes and well-fitting trainers for your abseiling experience.
- Meet at or near the agreed abseiling location.
- Your party will be equipped with all the necessary gear, including a harness and helmet provided by your guide.
- You’ll be taken out by one of our experienced instructors, and with our low participant to instructor ratio you’ll be guaranteed a safe and enjoyable adventure that is personalised to you.
- We can have breaks and take it at your own pace, no need to worry!
We’ll handle everything and send a detailed plan to you, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy your abseiling adventure. We’ll take pictures throughout and send them over once it’s all done, so you can relive every moment.

To confirm your booking, we’ll request a deposit, with the remaining balance payable the day before your scheduled activity.
We booked a half-day abseil in Brecon and we all enjoyed it a lot. There was me, my wife and our 10-year son and 7-year-old daughter with a mix of abilities and confidence. Our instructor was really good and well suited to dealing with getting the most out of the kids. When we're next in Wales we'll definitely be speaking to Hawk about trying some of their other activities.
Group Types
Abseiling is an inclusive adventure that doesn’t require super fitness, as gravity takes care of the hard work for you. Your group size will determine the wait time, but everyone gets to support and cheer each other on until it is their turn.

A Good All-Rounder
Abseiling is an exhilarating activity that’s surprisingly accessible—even if you’ve never tried it before. Unlike our rock climbing in the Brecon Beacons, which requires ascending and can involve complex techniques depending on your skill level, abseiling is walking backwards down a vertical surface while securely attached to a rope- no climbing needed (although we do recommend that too!)
