At Hawk Adventures, we know every school and group is unique, which is why we never deliver “off the shelf” sessions. Instead, we work closely with you to design meaningful outdoor learning programmes that:

Excellent day with Steff doing a half day Gorge Walking for a staff wellbeing day. Beautiful location, great equipment and instruction, thoroughly enjoyed by all. Highly recommend Hawk Adventures as a flexible and easy company to work with right from booking to receiving photos afterward.
Hawk Adventures did a fantastic job at organising the team building activities for 80 colleagues as part of a corporate work event. One of the BEST experience ever!!! Though it was raining all day, it felt like we have the best day to do the activities. So much fun all the way. It was indeed a day full of laughter and unforgettable memories. Our guide Steff was very knowledgable sharing facts about the place and some of its history. He regularly checked everyone and our preferences was on top of his priority. Very approachable and patient guide. Hawk has organised several outdoor events for 50+ people. As they are detail oriented , nothing was left to chance. Each event ran smoothly, had a clear plan that all participants were aware of. Not even the heavy Welsh rain could disrupt the day!
Hawk designed, organised and ran our annual team building and training day. The course was varied, challenging and kept everyone interested. The combination of theory, practice and in-house related activities and outward bound activities really made the day a success.

Our school activity days are available across South Wales, or you can join us for a residential experience at our Brecon Beacons centre, designed specifically for schools and youth groups.
Activity Days
Choose from single or multi-day visits at one of our outdoor activity locations or let us bring the adventure to your site. We provide everything from transport logistics support to risk assessments, so all you need to do is show up and enjoy the day.
School Residential Trips
Our 36-bed activity centre is nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park and offers:

Outdoor Activities for Schools
Our activities are hand-picked to balance fun, safety, and learning—ideal for KS2, KS3, KS4, and post-16 groups. Each session is run by our experienced instructors, all of whom are DBS checked, fully qualified, and passionate about working with young people.
Gorge Walking
Climb, scramble and splash through river gorges in a safe and supervised environment. Great for building confidence and teamwork.
Caving
Discover the underground world of the Brecon Beacons. Explore tunnels, learn about rock formations, and face new challenges.
Orienteering & Navigation
Learn how to read maps, use compasses and navigate real terrain. Perfect for geography fieldwork and DofE prep.
Abseiling
Develop trust, focus, and communication through technical challenges on natural rock faces.
Raft Building
