Course Durations and Numbers

Any Duration, Any Number!

You can join us for a half day, a whole day, a weekend, a week – whatever you choose.

We are one of the few Activity Providers who will take any number of people and welcome individuals and small groups as well as larger group sizes.

Just contact us to discuss your requirements.

We provide both Residential and Non Residential courses.

Our Safety record is exemplary and many of our staff members are Technical Advisors to other Outdoor Providers and Centres.

All Activities are provided by Instructors who are highly Experienced and Qualified in the Activities they deliver, as well as holding the relevant and current First Aid awards. National Qualifications held are those approved by the relevant Governing Bodies. All those participating will be covered by our Comprehensive Insurance. We are licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority and we regard the Safety of our Customers as THE most important aspect of our service.

Where are our Courses Run?

We deliver our Activities throughout the Brecon Beacons National Park, in South Wales and also in Carmarthenshire.

Our Outdoor Centre is based in Sennybridge, near Brecon, the area is perfect for the courses and programmes that we provide.

We do however run programmes further afield and have provided courses and expeditions throughout the UK and Europe.

Equipment / Safety

We provide excellent specialist equipment for our programmes and ensure that it is regularly inspected and maintained to the highest standard of safety. We also believe in providing good quality clothing to course members and provide everyone attending with personal equipment and clothing that we believe to be second to none.

We are fully insured for all eventualities during our events, including the transportation of participants.

We hold fully Comprehensive Public Liability Insurance, a copy of which is available on request.

Our Tutors and Instructors are fully qualified and conversant for both the Activities they deliver along with Health & Safety and First Aid Techniques relevant to the Outdoors.

We are proud to be able to provide appropriate outdoor activities to all participants, which are tailored to their needs and take into account any medical or health considerations.

‘It was a great event; everyone really enjoyed themselves; thank you! I also wanted to mention that the food was superb.’

Eve Brockwell, Blue Sky Performance Improvement

‘I feel I have gained a lot through the trips you have organised and it has deepened my passion for caving. You have helped to make the last week a holiday to remember.’

Richard Ward

‘On behalf of the group, thank you so much for our session yesterday. A really good time was had by all, and the entire group came out the other end with a real sense of achievement, especially a member of the group who has trouble with the dark!!  The photos are fab, and will probably end up on our website, and will definitely bring a smile to many faces.  The morning was a real success from our point of view and I have no doubt that we will use you again.’

Stephanie Grummit, God Unlimited

Just to say thanks again for sorting out a great day for the team. They had a wonderful day and were very complimentary about both Steff and Andy. I'll be in touch about doing something for my friends next summer. Until then, best wishes.’

Ian Byrne, Cirrus Partners

‘Thanks for a fantastic day on Friday. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The day was really well organised and the balance and format of the day were perfect! Thanks again for a great day.’

Sam Hargreaves, Barnardos

‘I just wanted to thank you very much for organising such an enjoyable day for us on Tuesday, at such short notice. Please pass on my thanks to Matt, who once again made the day so pleasurable.’

Jerry Crews

‘Great care is taken by the Police when choosing outside agents to assist in Outdoor Adventure Training for obvious reasons. I consider the Instructors within Hawk Associates to be perfect for our needs. They are extremely professional with a great accent on safety. I have complete trust in them’

Tony Beer, South Wales Police Community relations Officer

‘I don’t believe that I have ever taken a group away that have worked so well together as a team and got so much out of the weekend. I believe that this was down to the way you communicated with the members of the Team. The fact is that everybody came back with a total buzz from the weekend.’

Tracey Ranson, Leader of Round Tower Club, Windsor

I just wanted to say thankyou very much for the activities you organised for the Year 9’s this year. They loved it and loved the Instructors. Some wrote that it was the best week of their life !’

Sophie Riley, Whitecross School, Gloucester
